I first discovered La Sem in the '80's, on Finch Ave. If the amazingly delicious pastries were good then, I've been even more impressed by the quality and variety of the baked goods now. A Lady Bug for my wife's birthday, another design for the other Scorpio birthday crowd - and now everyone both in my family and friends are now La Sem only very happy customers. Now a special order two layer cake for my youngest grandchild, and a lot of little pastries, makes for an exceptionally happy party. Thanks to everyone at La Sem for the gift of great fun cakes that taste as good as they look.

Dear Maria and La Sem team,

I just wanted to send you a quick line to thank you very much for the delicious cake you created for my mother. Typically, people would go to you for BIG wedding cakes or cakes for a large group of people. I was nervous to call for such a "small" order, but Maria took such good care of me! Even though my cake was for 20 people, she took the time to go over every detail of my cake order. I could not come into the store, as I lived out of town, but went over cake designs, based on your website pictures. Maria was quick with her prices, suggestions and recommendations. The cake turned out PERFECTLY and to my great surprise, was just as tasty as it was beautiful. This is my first time ordering from La SEM.  Thank you LA SEM for your wonderful cake. You are now my "go to" place for cakes.. both big and small.
